Phil McMullen

Phil McMullen placed 2nd and 5th at the NCAA Championships in 1997 and 1998.

Tom Duits

Tom Duits was an All American in Cross Country and the Mile in the 70s. He was the first Michigander to run a sub 4:00 mile and still holds the school record of 3:59.2. Here he is (on left) after winning the first Kalamazoo Klassic 10K in 1979 .

Bruce Burston and Mike Gallagher

Bruce Burston and Mike Gallagher were part of the 1964 XC National Championship Team and were both All-Americans finishing 11th and 7th. Bruce also gained All-American status when he finished third at the 1965 NCAA indoor mile championships. Bruce returned to his native Australia and is an Age-Group champ in triathlon at the age of 60.

Jesse McGuire

Jesse McGuire was a two time XC All American and ran a 29:05 10K at the 1990 NCAA Outdoor Meet.
